Sometimes when I'm painting fabric, I'm having a bad day and it it doesn't come out exactly as I hoped - I drop a bit of colour in the wrong place or it blends badly or runs further than I was expecting. Sometimes I try something new and it looks ok but isn't what I'm going for. Sometimes I like to play around with a screen and stencils and make a brightly coloured mess on fabric!
After putting these pieces aside for a couple of years I have ended up with quite the stash of random pieces that I won't put in kits but would be better used being stitched on by someone rather than gathering dust in my studio!
